Location:
The village of Badacsonytomaj is located on Mount
Badacsony, which forms a peninsula in Lake Balaton.
Visitors can see very strange geological formations
nearby. There are Wine Weeks at the end of July and the
middle of September (the latter includes a spectacular
procession, an open-air market and a vintage ball). Also
in Badacsonytomaj is the house of the painter, József
Egrey, and the church of St. Emerico - the first basalt
church in Central Europe.
