The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the city centre.
Sligo is situated at the heart of 'Yeats Country', so
called after it's famous son WB Yeats, poet and Nobel
winner for literature.
The city straddles the
river, along which a new and fashionable parade with
wayside pubs, shops and cafes has sprung up. Sligo is
close to beaches, forest, mountains and sea.
