World Congress and IEC Conferences. The IEC meets every three years at an IPA World Congress, and between Congresses, once a year at an IEC conference. The next IPA World Congress 2012 will take place in Eilat ISRAEL, 4-9 September 2012.

Founder of the IPA Arthur Troop

The Association was formed because a police sergeant from Lincolnshire, England, Arthur Troop, wanted to create a channel for friendship and international co-operation amongst police officers. Arthur Troop was born on the 15th December 1914, in Lincoln, England.

IPA Houses

IPA now has over 71 properties in 20 countries worldwide where members can stay in reasonably priced accommodation. Today there are IPA Houses across the globe, from Australia to South Africa, Israel to the United Kingdom - the concept is still developing with more Houses being opened each year.

IPA Australia Flood Appeal
	Australia suffered from widespread and violent flooding in January and February. The floods affected 101 police officers, of whom 8 were IPA members. The level of damage ranged from moderate to severe to total loss of 19 homes. The section has asked for help from the IPA.

IPA Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Appeal
